Hey! I’m Shiry, I’m 18, and I’m from Tallinn, Estonia — yeah, the small Baltic country with lots of forests, islands, and digital everything. I grew up close to the sea, so rain and wind don’t really scare me. 😄 Right now I’m finishing high school, and in my free time I love photography, hanging out with my small but loyal friend group, and discovering hidden cafes in the Old Town. I speak Estonian, Russian, and English — so sometimes I mix all three in one sentence by accident. I’d say I’m a quiet person at first, but once I trust you, I never stop talking. Life here is calm, but honestly? I’m ready for more noise and new adventures.
What I do
Turns On
Definitely the silence before sunrise — that’s when I take my best photos. I love midnight walks near the sea, old second-hand sweaters, wool socks, cinnamon rolls from that one bakery in Kalamaja, and anything with film grain. I also really love learning random facts about space and true crime stories (don’t judge me).
Turns Off
Fake small talk. People who say “you’re so quiet, why?” — just let me exist. I hate being rushed, loud chewing sounds, and when my phone storage is full right before I want to take a picture. Also not a fan of crowded shopping malls or when someone touches my hair without asking. And honestly? I don’t like the feeling of being stuck — when every day feels exactly the same.
